This handwoven backpack, made by the people of the island of Borneo, is made using traditional crafting techniques. The artisans use non-dyed fibers of natural rattan, to weave the cylindrical body, with a less tight weave on the upper half.
Historically, Borneo women wore them to collect and store fruits, while men used them to carry their hunting tools.
This bucket-style backpack, comes with two straps, that can be adjusted knotting them on the base of the bag, and a drawstring closure on the top.
